Sure, a handful of remakes have actually managed to be decent, but let's face it, the majority of them are just NOT NEEDED. So... that's why we have this thread! Feel free to rant about the latest blasphemous remake on the horizon, You know, like;
- The Birds (scheduled for 2011)
- The Blob
-The wolfman (okay, this one could be good... )

Or an older one that just really SUCKED. like the Psycho remake, and the Pink Panther remake and sequel The Fog Remake.... Black Xmas

And NO, it's not just limited to the horror genre, by all means, mention ALL unneeded remakes. old and new.

THE BLOB!!!! I love that movie, it is blasphamy they are even thinking of remaking such a classic. As for Karate kid, the actors that are chosen for the parts are just....agh.

I'm actually looking forward to The Blob. That movie is beyond dated. A remake is exactly what it needs. It isn't like they could do a sequel. No one would get it. RZ is more suited for that kind of thing anyway.

All it is knowdays is shitty remakes and stupid CGI that looks horrible but the idiots in Hollywood think it looks amazing. The film industry is dead to me. Very sad but true.
